As plans were made for her funeral in Ferrieres on Saturday, her father appealed to the public to stay away from the ceremony, and not to send any flowers. Bernard Figard, who last week visited the spot where his daughter was found in a lay-by near Worcester, expressed thanks for the English public's response, but said the family wanted it to be a private affair.
