Zeneca goes Dutch with seed merger

Zeneca is in advanced talks on the merger of its seeds business with Royal Vanderhave, part of Suiker Unie group. The merged group, which would be based in Kapelle in the Netherlands, is to be owned 50/50 by the two parties. The merged business will rank among the world's top five seed companies with sales of around pounds 300m.
