The Welsh rugby-mad founder of GoCompare netted £44 million after selling her stake in the price comparison website.
41-year-old Hayley Parsons says she plans to spend more time with her children and watching sport after selling to insurer esure. Parsons founded the business eight years ago after overlooked for a promotion at Admiral Group.
Esure is paying £95 million for the 50% of GoCompare it didn’t already own.
