The arrival of Philip Davies with a 6.05p shareholding has added to the recent excitement about a restructuring and reverse takeover. Last year Ferrum and Kendell - busily traded with 4 million shares going through at 0.5p - were the market's worst performing shares.
rKenmare Resources, up 1p at 28.5p, has discovered what could be a highly encouraging gold area in Mozambique. The company talks about 14 veins more than one metre wide containing "significant gold concentrates". The shares were 20p in November.
rCeltic, the football club, came to life, jumping 1,000p to 8,250p on AIM.
The shares have climbed from 6550p this year.
