Your support makes all the difference.The Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton has begun a three-year programme to help European lorry manufacturers to meet European legislation on traffic noise. The university is developing a series of computerised mathematical models to predict the performance of structures that enclose the engine to muffle its noise.
