SKIPTON BUILDING Society has a three-year Protection Bond, paying 6.25 per cent gross, as long as the three-month London Inter Bank Offered Rate, at which banks lend to each other, does not fall below 4.75 at certain points each year.

PREMIER FUND Managers is launching a Euro Protector Fund, offering long- term capital growth while protecting against potential stockmarket falls by locking in at least 97 per cent of a fund at the end of each quarter.
