HOUSE of Fraser is in talks to sell its Barkers building in Kensington High Street, west London, to an investment group for about pounds 80m.

The building, occupied by Associated Newspapers, has been for sale for more than a year, with the original asking price believed to be near to pounds 200m. House of Fraser is currently attempting to restructure its pounds 750m of debts.
