Fiat back in the black

Fiat, the Italian car maker, reported net profit of 1.011 trillion lire (pounds 611m) for 1994 against a 1993 loss of 1.783 trillion lire. Fiat said it will propose payment of 1994 dividends of 50 lire per ordinary share and 110 lire per savings share compared with nil and 60 lire respectively a year earlier.
