DRS Data & Research Services will be valued at about pounds 40m when it announces its flotation details on Thursday. The company, which makes scanning equipment for transferring hard text on to computer systems, was formed 25 years ago. It is understood that the company will raise pounds 8m of new money, and a similar amount will go to the founders, who will retain majority control.
