Your support makes all the difference.Readicut International, the specialist textiles group, boosted pre-tax profits to pounds 19.2m ( pounds 11.8m) in the year to 31 March. Earnings per share are 7.5p (4.07p). Final dividend is 2.81p, making a total unchanged at 3.44p.
Cosalt, the ropes, lighting, glass products and holiday homes maker, incurred pounds 220,000 taxable loss (profit pounds 778,000) for the six months to 28 February. Loss per share 1.64p (EPS 4.52p). Dividend is cut to 2.125p (4.25p).
Six months to 31 March
Metro Radio Group, which operates radio franchises in north-east England and Yorkshire, recorded pounds 797,000 ( pounds 670,000) pre-tax profits. Earnings per share increased from 2.64p to 3.13p. Dividend is held at 1.5p.
Tunstall Group achieved pounds 3.2m ( pounds 2.6m) pre-tax profit. Earnings per share improved to 13.3 (10.2p). Dividend is lifted to 2.5p (2.25p).
