Year to 30 June

Town Centre Securities, the property developer and investor, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 7.25m ( pounds 6.5m). Final dividend is 2.1p, making 3.1p (2.8p).

Galliford, the construction group, reported more than halved pre-tax profits of pounds 3m ( pounds 6.4m). Final dividend is 3.35p, making 4.3p (same).

Year to 31 March

Courtyard Leisure, the restaurant operator, incurred a pounds 288,000 pre- tax loss (profit pounds 62,000).

Platon International deepened pre-tax losses to pounds 547,000 (loss pounds 484,000). No dividend.

Half-year to 30 June

Horace Clarkson, the insurance broker and ship owner, plunged to pounds 1.5m ( pounds 6.1m) pre-tax profit. Dividend is cut to 0.5p (2.75p).

Bilston & Battersea Enamels, giftwear maker, reduced pre-tax losses from pounds 52,000 to pounds 28,000.

Correction: Rea Brothers, the merchant banker, held its interim dividend at 0.25p, while REA Holdings, the plantations and warehousing group, passed dividend for the first half, and not as reported on 3 October.
