FW Thorpe, the lighting equipment maker, increased pre-tax profits to pounds 1.8m ( pounds 1.6m) in the year to 30 June. Final dividend is 1.7p, making 2.5p (2.15p).
Surrey Group, the bookmaker and property trader and developer, made pounds 5,000 pre-tax profit (loss pounds 216,000) in the year to 31 March. No dividend (0.05p).
Prestwick Holdings fell to pounds 91,000 (pounds 109,000) pre-tax profit in the year to 31 July. Final dividend is 1p, making 1.5p (same).
Half-year to 30 June
Richards Group fell to pounds 256,000 (pounds 505,000) pre-tax profit. Interim dividend is held at 1.65p
Capital Industries, formerly Capital Ventures, advanced to pounds 988,000 (pounds 640,000), aided by a boost in turnover from pounds 4m to pounds 12.4m. Dividend is 1.6p.
T&S Stores eased to pounds 6.5m (pounds 7.1m) pre-tax profit. Interim dividend is raised from 2.25p to 2.4p.
Global Group fell to pounds 658,000 pre-tax profit (pounds 959,000). Dividend is held at 0.2p.
Watts, Blake, Bearn & Co rose to pounds 3.7m (pounds 3.5m) pre-tax profit. Dividend held at 2.7p.
