Shiloh boosted pre-tax profits to pounds 1.1m ( pounds 757,000) in the year to 26 March. EPS 15.15p (7.96p). Total dividend is 3.5p (2.9p).

S&U Stores increased pre-tax profits to pounds 5.6m ( pounds 4.5m) in the year to 31 January. EPS 33.8p (27.4p). Total dividend is 11.5p (10p).

Northumbrian Fine Foods has agreed to buy Jesse Oldfield, a slab and Christmas cake maker based in Manchester, for up to pounds 2.56m in shares and unsecured loan notes.

Year ended 31 December

Copymore more than doubled pre- tax profits to pounds 1.3m ( pounds 536,000). EPS 7.1p (3.3p). Total dividend is 4p.

Computerised Financial Solutions, which was floated on the USM in February, has produced pounds 330,000 ( pounds 37,000) pre-tax profits. There is no dividend.

S Jerome & Sons Holdings saw taxable losses fall from pounds 1.55m to pounds 404,000. Final dividend is 0.3p.

Six months to 28 February

Bett Brothers boosted pre-tax profits to pounds 3.1m ( pounds 551,000). EPS 13.8p (3.67p). Dividend is 1.25p (0.5p).

Haemocell deepened taxable losses to pounds 1.2m ( pounds 915,000) as turnover slumped to pounds 74,000 ( pounds 542,000). LPS 5.1p (4.3p). No dividend.
