DIY BOOMLET

Do It All, the DIY chain jointly owned by Boots and WH Smith, said sales in the holiday period were 50 per cent up on last year.

PENSIONS THREAT

The TUC warned that occupational pensions face 'disaster' unless the law is reformed. It wants trust law to be replaced by a Pensions Act and a complete separation of pension assets from those of the employer.
