Your support makes all the difference.THE NASDAQ and S&P 500 rose to records as the November jobs report eased concern that rising wages will prompt the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates soon. Computer shares led the gains, together with a bond- fuelled rally in financial shares.
The Nasdaq jumped 67.84, 2 per cent, to 3,520.62, crossing 3,500 only 22 days after topping 3,000; it is up 61 per cent in 1999. The Dow average rose 247.12, 2.2 per cent, to 11,286.18, within 40 of its 25 August closing record.
