Your support makes all the difference.A MAN infected with the Aids virus ,who had sex with at least 70 or 80 women in Sweden, was probably an Iranian who had lived under a false identity for years, police said yesterday.
Panicky women who had sex with the man were lining up for tests to see if they had contracted the virus.
"We know he had sex with 70 to 80 women. There are probably more we don't know about." Stockholm detective Christer Sjoblom said. Calls were pouring in from scared women, he said.
The story broke earlier this week when an address book with the names of some 200 Swedish women aged around 20 was found during a search of the man's apartment.
He kept notes on their sexual performance.
Police said the man, already wanted on rape charges and still at large, had been living under the name of James Kimball. Swedish media alleged he had taken the identity from a dead American, but police declined to confirm this. They did confirm that he was carrying the Aids virus. (Reuters)
