Danish actress, visited New York last May she left her two-year-old daughter, Liv, in a pushchair outside a Manhattan restaurant while she ate inside.Now, claiming emotional damage from what happened after diners called police, she is suing New York City $20m (pounds 12.5m). For three days mother and child were separated after the authorities put Liv in temporary foster care. Ms Sorensen's lawyer said Liv now suffers "emotional problems, a certain amount of fear of separation from her mother".
