Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Debenhams launched its new season sale earlier this week, with 25 per cent discounts in almost every department.
There are thousands of reductions available, ranging from homeware and furniture to shoes and clothing. Although the sale is billed as being "25 per cent off in every department", there are a few price fluctuations to watch out for, such as dozens of fashion items from last season running with 50 per cent discounts and beauty and fragrance lines that are only 10 per cent off. All orders come with free delivery and, if necessary, returns. Visit Debenhams.com for further details or to make your purchase.
M&S internet Deal of the Day
A neat little addition to the Marks & Spencer website is its Deal of the Day section, where top products receive huge reductions for just 24 hours. There's no specific guidelines on what could be on sale – discounts earlier this week included 20 per cent of men's shoes, 33 per cent off wines and up to £500 off Panasonic televisions – but with such a high turnover, the page is well worth adding to your bargain hunting bookmarks.
Feast your eyes online
Online contact lens retailer GetLenses.co.uk is running a couple of great discount codes at the moment, entitling customers to up to 33 per cent off all eye care and lens lines. Using the code TENWG, customers making a first purchase of £30 or more will receive a £10 reduction and free delivery. However, if your basket doesn't come to £30, try using the code MONEYWG which gives customers 20 per cent off their first purchase with no minimum spend.
Let's go to the movies
This week's top printable coupon deal comes via MoneySupermarket.com and provides customers with 40 per cent off the price of tickets at Odeon cinemas. To take advantage of the offer visit http://bit.ly/omQneI, download and print the voucher and show it while buying your movie tickets.
