Bargain Hunter: Get shaken and stirred at London Cocktail Week
If you head down to the capital next week, you can try a range of cocktails – and even mix your own – at London Cocktail Week. It claims to be the biggest drinks festival in the world and, for a tenner, you can open the door to the world of mixologists and Martinis.
The event is being held in the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden, in stores and venues such as The Cambridge Satchel Company, Coco de Mer, Foxhall London, Superdry, Tatty Devine and Detroit. You will need to buy a wristband for £10 to join in with special events, but that will get you training and sampling sessions in the area as well as a cocktail tour. To pre-register for a wristband – log on to londoncocktailweek.com or simply buy one on site. It runs from 7 to 13 October.
