Britannia Building Society is launching a three-year low-entry fixed-rate bond for investments of pounds 2,000 or more. Interest of 8.15 per cent gross can be paid annually or 7.9 per cent monthly.
General Portfolio has boosted interest rates on its one-year guaranteed bond by the full base rate rise, 0.5 per cent.
Allied Provincial Securities has launched a five-year FTSE-linked income bond which pays interest at the value of the increase in the index plus 25 per cent.
