From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. "Motherhood and sexuality can coexist", American media personality and model Kylie Jenner has insisted.

Alongside a series taken for Playboy magazine, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star was interviewed by her partner, the rapper Travis Scott.

The pair spoke about several topics, including their relationship, their one-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster and how the Kylie Cosmetics founder embraced her sexuality after giving birth.

Scott asked: "Do you feel like I empower you to own your identity and sexuality as a mum?"

She replied: "You remind me that motherhood and sexuality can coexist and just because you embrace your sexuality doesn't mean you have loose morals or you're not a good mother. You can be sexy and still be a badass mum."

Jenner has previously admitted on Instagram that she "struggled with anxiety" her "whole young adult life".

"After my baby I dealt with all the internal ups and downs," she wrote: "I felt like I had to find myself completely again."

She was criticised earlier this year for a make-up collection which had been designed around a "money" theme, with the range including products with names such as "Money ain't everything" and "Work for it".

In response she explained on Instagram that she planned to "give back" with the money-themed collection and that it is "much bigger than what it seems".

Without elaborating further, she said: "You guys are going to help me give back in a huge, huge way."
