At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference.Angelina Jolie has said #MeToo will not lead to progress in Hollywood without "legal changes".
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, the Maleficant star explained there is much more to be done if we're to put an end to sexual misconduct and abuse in the workplace for good.
"As anybody knows, the usual starting point in any situation like this is an independent inquiry by experts," Jolie began.
These people, she said, "can look into the facts and identify what legal changes and protections are needed so there is some measure of independent expert scrutiny and accountability".
But, the actor added, "that hasn’t happened" yet.
The 44-year-old actor went on to explain that in light of her philanthropic work, which currently focuses on championing female education in underdeveloped countries, she feels "infuriated" by the lack of progress when it comes to protecting young girls.
"I don’t think we will be living in a new era for women’s rights until there has been progress," Jolie added. "Until people who’ve raped and abused women and girls in Syria and Myanmar and the DRC, for example, are held accountable."
Elsewhere in the interview, Jolie opened up about her six children, who she said "have been through a lot", and co-parenting them with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.
"I would love to live abroad and will do so as soon as my children are 18," the actor told the publication.
"Right now I’m having to base where their father chooses to live."
Jolie and Pitt filed for divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage.
