He has come back into the nations' psyche with the help of Gaby Roslin and The Big Breakfast, and Dean Friedman is all set to launch his new album Songs For Grownups this month. The American singer-songwriter who made his name in the Seventies with hit singles like "Lucky Stars", "Lydia", "Ariel" and "Woman of Mine", will also be performing at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on 25 May.
Fans should know that Dean hasn't been resting on his laurels since his songs were chart busters, but has forged three new careers making music soundtracks for television, writing three best-selling books and starting a virtual reality software and video design company.
