From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

WandaVision is set to get its own limited edition makeup line in a collaboration with US cosmetics brand Ulta.

The line will help WandaVision fans, who have gone wild sharing their looks from the series on Tiktok with the  #WandaVisionMakeup challenge, create the makeup from every decade in the show.

WandaVision x Ulta items will include a brow kit, brush set, lip products and three eyeshadows (some with warm reddish tones to match Wanda’s hair), with shade names that give a nod to the series.

The packaging will also reflect the retro feel of the show, with scarlet tones, ‘60s-style designs and Wanda’s face on each box. Items will retail for between £7 and £20, and reportedly will be available from 14 March in Ulta stores and online.

It’s not the first makeup collection based on a TV show.

In 2019, Ulta released an Avengers makeup collection; while Korean brand The Face Shop previously launched a Marvel-inspired makeup range, inspired by Captain America, Spider-Man and Iron Man. Products included gel eyeliner pencils, an SPF foundation compact, nail polish and eye shadow.

WandaVision, from Disney+, is a mystery series that follows Marvel characters Wanda (a.k.a. Scarlet Witch) played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Vision played by Paul Bettany. It takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), and blends America’s classic sitcom-style with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Wanda has mind control powers and has been tricked into living in a fabricated world where she can live a normal life, but she and Vision soon realise things are not as they seem.

According to audience measurement system Parrot Analytics, WandaVision is was the biggest TV show in the world in February, and has been watched more than 6.5 million times.
