From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

While it may seem like the Victoria’s Secret angels are immune from mundane worries like cravings, it turns out that after the annual fashion show is over, they are just like us - and it looks like Victoria’s Secret is more than happy to cater to their cravings, once the angels’ work is done.

According to angels Karlie Kloss and Jasmine Tookes, Victoria’s Secret throws an epic post-show pizza party, where the models are free to eat as many carbs as they please.

When asked what she would be eating after the show, Kloss said, “Rumour has it there’s really good pizza that’s gonna be at the party tonight, so I think we all will be chowing down.”

Tookes seemed similarly excited about the post-show pizza - “The first thing I’ll eat after a show is pepperoni pizza because we always have a really fun pizza party” - proving that pizza is the clear winner for most popular post-show food among the angels.

But although it is nice to imagine the models eating pizza for the first time in months, it turns out that pizza isn’t necessarily banned from the angels’ strict pre-show diet. According to former Victoria’s Secret model Jessica Hart, being healthy means trying to give your body what it wants, even if that craving is pizza.

Jealousy aside, the angels work extremely hard for their bodies and definitely deserve a cheat meal.
