Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Just as we turn our prurient attention away from the sordid details of the latest White House sex scandals, the bed-hopping shenanigans of the Simpsons look as if they're going to have us glued to our screens. Sex, Lies and the Simpsons, the latest video from America's sleaziest family (available to buy 13 April), exposes the depraved, corrupt underbelly of Springfield. "The Last Temptation of Homer" details Pa Simpson's lust for the Nuclear Plant's latest recruit, Mindy (voiced by Michelle Pfeiffer).

Like father, like son, Bart accidentally damages Springfield's house of ill repute and lands himself in the town's biggest ever sex scandal in "Bart After Dark". `New Kid on the Block' sees Bart plot dastardly revenge when arch-enemy Jimbo starts to date his new love, the cool girl- next-door, Laura.

In conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox, The Independent has five copies of Sex, Lies and The Simpsons (rrp pounds 12.99) to give away to its readers. Please send a postcard with name and address to The Independent/Simpsons Offer, 113-117 Farringdon Rd, London, EC1R 3BT.
