On Saturday, Kensington Palace shared a video to their social media accounts showing Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis asking the natural historian questions ahead of his new film, A Life on Our Planet.
In the video, captioned: “Sir David Attenborough, we've got some questions for you,” Prince George began, asking the TV presenter which animal he thinks will go extinct next.
“Hello David Attenborough!” Prince George said. “What animal do you think will become extinct next?”
In response to the seven-year-old’s question, Sir David said: “Well, let’s hope there won’t be any,” before explaining that we can work to protect animals in danger of extinction.

Princess Charlotte came next, telling the naturalist that she likes spiders, before asking him if he likes spiders.
“Hello David Attenborough, I like spiders. Do you like spiders too?” the five-year-old asked, prompting Sir David to remark on how “marvelous” spider webs are.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest child, two-year-old Louis, concluded the video with a question of his own, asking the 94-year-old TV presenter: “What animal do you like?”
In response to Prince Louis’s inquiry, Sir David revealed that he likes monkeys the best.
“Because they're such fun. They can jump all over the place,” he said.
The video, which marks the first time that many people have heard Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children speak, is also their first foray into official royal duties.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a short video clip of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis each asking Sir David Attenborough a question about the natural world," the palace said in a press release.
On social media, the adorable video prompted an outpouring of messages from fans all over the world.
“It’s so nice to hear their voices! Cuteness overload,” one person commented on Instagram.
Another said: “This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! Louis saying AMIMAL.”
The video comes after the royal family released photos of the children meeting Sir David in the garden of Kensington Palace last weekend.
