On Tuesday, the “Material Girl” singer posted a short video to Instagram that showed her getting ready in front of a mirror while jazz music played in the background.
During the clip, the 61-year-old musician offered up her two bedroom Upper West Side apartment to the royal couple in a bid to stop them moving to Canada.
“Don’t run off to Canada, it’s so boring there,” Madonna said.
“I’ll let them sublet my apartment in Central Park West, it’s two bedroom. It’s got the best view of Manhattan, with the best balcony.”
The pop singer added: “That’s going to be a winner. That’s going to be a deal breaker.
“Buckingham Palace has got nothing on CPW [Central Park West].”
The video then hears a male voice chime in: “The view is better, that’s for sure,” to which Madonna responds, “Yeah, for sure. A bunch of guys in woolly hats.”
The music legend captioned the post, writing: “Do Megan [sic] and Prince Harry want to sublet my apartment on Central Park West??”
Madonna bought her New York City apartment in 2008 for $7.3m (£5.6m).
The offer comes after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced plans to step back from their roles as senior royals and work towards financial independence.
The move prompted the Queen to organise a crisis summit regarding the couple’s future roles, where it was decided there would be a “period of transition” which will see them living in Canada and the UK.
In a statement, the Queen said that the royal family “respect and understand” their “desire to create a new life as a young family”.
Shortly after, Buckingham Palace issued an additional statement in which it confirmed that Harry and Meghan will no longer receive public funding or be able to use their HRH titles.
“As agreed in this new arrangement, they understand that they are required to step back from royal duties, including official military appointments.
“They will no longer receive public funds for royal duties,” the statement read.
