Harry and Meghan’s first Archewell series for Netflix will follow Invictus athletes
It comes as part of their deal with the streaming service to produce TV series, films, documentaries and children’s programmes

Your support makes all the difference.Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from the royal family, they have signed deals with streaming services such as Spotify and Netflix to generate new sources of income and be self-sufficient.
On Tuesday it was announced that the first piece of Netflix content their production company, Archewell Productions, will launch is a docuseries called Heart of Invictus.
In a tweet posted on the Netflix Twitter account, the media giant confirmed that the show will highlight athletes in the Invictus Games, with which Harry has long been heavily involved.
It read: “Prince Harry has been a champion of the Invictus Games since its inception so it’s fitting that Archewell’s first Netflix series will spotlight and celebrate the competition’s amazing athletes.
“Heart of Invictus will follow the competitors as they prepare for 2022’s games.”

The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for personnel of the armed services who were injured or wounded on the job. Prince Harry has been a hands-on patron from the start and helped launch the first event in London in 2014.
The docuseries will follow competitors from around the world as they prepare to compete in the 2022 games at The Hague in the Netherlands, which were postponed from 2020.
In a statement, Harry said: “Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve.
“This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year.
“As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential, and continued service.”
In a deal made in September 2020, Archewell Productions signed a contract with streaming giant Netflix “to develop scripted and unscripted series, film, documentaries, and children’s programming for the streaming service”.
An official release date for Heart of Invictus has not yet been set.
