Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Hell has no fury...

Indeed – especially when the source of her ire is a sex tape showing her fella in the act with another woman. After the video of Tamara's boyfriend, Omar Khyami, was leaked last week, the billionaire heiress and daughter of F1 impresario Bernie reportedly decided to ditch him once and for all.

Claims of infidelity and heartache all round – that's nothing new.

No, but this is no ordinary break-up. The couple have been together for two and a half years and Tamara's father is worth an estimated £2.7bn. In such gilded circles, separation arrangements are not as simple as a tug-of-war over the toaster.

So what's up for grabs then?

Where to start? The tabloids have been salivating over an eye-watering list that includes gold bracelets and diamond-encrusted watches. Word has it that Tamara has locked up their collection of prized luxury cars, including Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Range Rovers.

So will your man get a generous slice of the pie?

Possibly. The couple were due to move into a 55-room, £45m home in Kensington, west London, later this year and had they married it is likely they would have opened a joint account. The timing of the break-up may allow Tamara to keep hold of her personal fortune.
