Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Have your seatbelts fastened, your window blinds fully open and your passports ready for inspection as Fascinating Aïda land at the Charing Cross Theatre for a five week season over Christmas 2011. Captain Dillie Keane, Navigator Adele Anderson and their new flight attendant Sarah-Louise Young look forward to their first major London season since 2003.
Still Britain’s best comedy cabaret trio and now a global Internet sensation, Fascinating Aïda have been much invigorated by over eight million YouTube hits on their infamous anthem to budget travel, Cheap Flights.
This West End season follows a sold out run at the Edinburgh Festival fringe and a sold out fifty-date UK tour. The brand new show will include several numbers hot off the press plus a few old favourites, including their now hilarious homage to the joys of al fresco sex, The Dogging Song, described last year by The Times as ‘…the dirtiest and funniest song of the century so far.’
