Stolen goods worth more than pounds 4m go on show today at the Broadgate Institute, opposite Liverpool Street Station, to try to track down their owners. Scotland Yard said: 'The show includes 6,000 items of stolen property.

It includes a large number of musical instruments, cameras, jewellery, paintings and numerous antique fireplaces.'

The show opens at noon and lasts until tomorrow night.
