Naomi Campbell may be working from home, but that hasn’t stopped her from implementing safety precautions while filming videos for her YouTube channel Being Naomi.

On Saturday, the supermodel reminisced over her favourite Met Gala look in a video uploaded to her channel, where she also modelled the outfit and others in her closet.

“This dress that I have on now, I’ve never worn it, this dress is Ossie Clark, it’s from 1967, it’s a vintage… I just felt like putting it on today,” Campbell says while trying on a black caped dress.

While the gowns were stunning, it was Campbell’s cameraman that left viewers amused - after he was spotted wearing a full hazmat suit and mask in the reflection of the model’s mirror.

“Obsessed with Naomi Campbell’s quarantine cameraman filming her for her YouTube channel,” one viewer wrote on Twitter, alongside screenshots of the protective outfit.

The tweet, which has since been liked more than 92,000 times, prompted others to praise the supermodel.

“Only a queen can require this,” one person wrote. “I love her.”

Another said: “She does not play. I love it.”

Others pointed out that this isn’t the first time Campbell has relied on hazmat suits for safety, as the supermodel went viral in March after sharing a photo of herself wearing the protective suit at the airport with the caption: “Safety First NEXT LEVEL.”

“You know she had a whole box of those suits already in her closet,” one fan responded.

And, considering the 49-year-old’s lengthy aeroplane-cleaning routine, it isn’t surprising that she requires her camera person to wear the suit.

“Naomi was ahead of her time with that aeroplane sanitation routine that went viral a few years ago,” another person tweeted.

However, the Making The Cut judge did point out that the footage was filmed in her New York home before the state went into lockdown.

“The footage that reveals my camera person in the background as I go through dresses was filmed the night of 11 March the same night I returned from LA,” Campbell told the DailyMail. “I have over two years of banked footage that we continually take from during the editing process. I hope everyone continues to practise social distancing and follow the rules of our health experts.”
