Your support makes all the difference.Kia has released pictures of the all-electric concept car it intends to debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.
Kia's "Pop" concept is set to be unveiled at the show's press day on September 30, with a three-seat design and electric powertrain.
Kia says that the three-meter, zero-emission vehicle, which boasts a panoramic roof and LED taillights, brings "innovative design chic" to the city car segment.
The Pop will be the third 'green' unveiling this year from the Korean automaker, which took the wraps off its Ray plug-in hybrid car at the Chicago Auto Show in February and the Kia Venga EV at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Earlier this year, a Kia spokesman suggested that the firm would begin selling a hybrid model in the US before the year was out.
Although such an announcement has yet to materialise, the Kia POP is likely to increase expectations that the automaker will join Asian competitors Nissan and Mitsubishi in series production of an electric vehicle.
Japanese automaker Honda is also said to be planning to launch a new green model at the show, reportedly prepping a hybrid version of its Fit/Jazz compact for an international debut.
The Paris Motor Show runs in Paris October 2-17.
