Your support makes all the difference.The DS 4 crossover has been given a comprehensive makeover in a bid to challenge premium cars such as the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series and the Volvo V40.
The restyled DS 4 has a new nose, revised headlights with LED and xenon technology, a revamped line-up of engines and a wider choice of paint finishes and trims.
There are also now two distinctive DS models – a standard five-door hatch and a new Crossback, both front-wheel drive only. The latter is a more rugged proposition, with ride height increased by 30mm and brawnier styling, including larger wheels, skidplates and roof bars. The Crossback will be sold in the UK with one trim level and a choice of two engines.
Along with the new DS face, both models have more in the way of exterior chrome, a standard ‘wrap-over’ windscreen and upgraded headlights. Inside, there is a new 7.0-inch touchscreen and options include massage seats and a Denon sound system. CarPlay for the iPhone, mirroring for Android and Apple mobiles, DS Connect, keyless entry, blind spot warning and a reversing camera are also available.
The Crossback will be sold in the UK with a choice of two engines, a Pure Tech 130 turbocharged petrol unit with a manual ’box and a Blue HDi 120, with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed auto.
For the hatchback, there will be the choice of three petrol or three diesel engines, including the two entry-level versions for the Crossback, but with a THP 210 turbocharged engine as the range-topper, or a Blue HDi 180 turbodiesel.
Prices will start at £19,500 for the Pure Tech 130 manual, peaking at about £25,500 for the Blue HDi 180.
