Fans are accusing Millie Bobby Brown of pretending to use her new line of skincare products in a tutorial video - in which the actress appears to apply nothing to her face.
Brown recently released Florence by Mills, a vegan skincare line targeted towards teenagers.
To show how she uses the products, the 15-year-old Stranger Things actress filmed a tutorial of her nighttime routine, using a face mist, a scrub, face wash, a moisturiser and a lip oil from the skincare line.
However, fans have since questioned whether Brown actually used any skincare on her face in the video, as she appears to be wearing the same amount of makeup in the end.
In a video uploaded to Instagram, which has since been deleted but is still up on YouTube, Brown can be seen first spraying her face with a face mist.
Following the first step, the teenager, who is wearing eyeliner and mascara, then says she will be using a scrub, which she is “really excited to use”.
Despite Brown rubbing her face, it appears that she hasn’t actually applied any of the product, which is also the case for the face wash and moisturiser.
At the end of the video, Brown looks nearly indistinguishable from the beginning of her skincare routine, and is still wearing eye makeup.
The video has prompted confusion on social media, where fans are convinced Brown didn’t actually use any of the products in the video apart from the face mist.
“Was she washing her face with air or?” one person asked on Twitter.
Another said: “Can’t stop thinking about that video of Millie Bobby Brown pretending to apply her own skincare range omg.”
“Millie Bobby Brown pretending to wash her face for that skincare video… girl, aren’t you supposed to be an actress?” someone else tweeted.
Others questioned why Brown still had makeup on at the end of the video.
One person commented on YouTube: “She didn’t even use any of the products. And she still has eye makeup on. Come on!”
