Penis enlargement surgery is the second most desired cosmetic procedure by men in America, research shows.

A survey conducted by YouGov shows that 25 per cent of men would opt for the operation if money was no object.

The most popular cosmetic procedure was fat reduction, which saw 51 per cent of men indicate they would go under the knife if they could afford it.

Scar removal surgery was also a popular choice among men, with 18 per cent saying they would undergo surgery to remove scars.

For women the most popular procedures included fat reduction and wrinkle removal, with 59 per cent and 33 per cent of American women would opting to have this surgery respectively.

The study comes after research earlier this year confirmed what the 'perfect penis' was. The study from the University of Zurich asked women for their preferences on genitalia, before deciding that “general cosmetic appearance” was the most important aspect when it comes to what women value in a penis.
