Mandy Moore has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband Taylor Goldsmith.

On Thursday, the This is Us actor shared the news on Instagram with a series of black and white photographs of herself and Goldsmith, who is pictured holding Moore’s belly.

“Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” the 36-year-old actor wrote in the caption.

Moore and Goldsmith tied the knot in 2018 after three years of dating.

The actor has previously spoken about her wish to have children.

In 2017, Moore told E! “I want kids sooner than later."

The actor went on to talk about how her role in This is Us as Rebecca Pearson, a mother of three, made her think more about wanting children.

“'[What] I was most concerned about was feeling maternal,” she said of taking on the role.

“Not having children myself. But being part of a project like this definitely makes my ovaries start kicking.”

The singer and actor has been vocal about her relationship with Goldsmith on Instagram, previously sharing a heartwarming post for his 35th birthday.

“I’m not sure what I did in a past life to deserve you but it must have been something big,” she wrote in a caption below a photograph of them.

“You are undeniable. Your inherent light, humility, grace, humor, and compassion are contagious and I feel lucky to get the chance to bask in your goodness with outstretched arms.”
