From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Lily Allen has shared a selection of unseen photographs of herself at her wedding to Stranger Things star David Harbour.

On Wednesday, the singer revealed she and Harbour had tied the knot at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in a low-key ceremony.

Now, Allen, 35, has shared a few behind-the-scenes snaps on her Instagram Story from the occasion, showing herself wearing a tulle veil.

The singer also posted a photo of her daughters, Ethel, eight, and Marnie, seven, in the back of a limousine with face masks on.

Allen also shared a selfie of herself in the Dior dress she wore for the occasion, which came complete with double-breasted buttons and an off-the-shoulder neckline.

Harbour also shared photos from the wedding on Instagram, with one showing him holding his new wife in his arms and posing next to the Elvis impersonator.

“In a wedding officiated by the king himself, the people’s princess wed her devoted, low born, but kind credit card holder in a beautiful ceremony lit by the ashen skies courtesy of a burning state miles away in the midst of a global pandemic,” Harbour captioned the photos.

“Refreshments were served at a small reception following.”

The couple, who reportedly began dating in September 2019, never confirmed they were engaged, but social media posts shared by Allen of what appeared to be her engagement ring prompted rumours.

Allen was previously married to Sam Cooper, who she shares daughters Ethel and Marnie with. They married in 2011 before separating in 2016 and finalising their divorce in 2018.
