Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Jennifer Lawrence is notoriously private about her personal life, hence why it might seem odd that the Hunger Games star has shared her entire wedding registry online.
The actor has partnered with Amazon to reveal everything she is asking for from guests invited to her upcoming wedding to art dealer, Cooke Maroney.
The list is divided into several sections, comprising hosting and happy hours, travel, outdoor entertaining, and kitchen.
Suffice to say, Lawrence’s list verges on the opulent side, with a marble cheese slicer, copper fondue set and martini glasses all included.
A copper fire pit is listed under outdoor entertaining, along with fairy lights and a tundra cooler, while a cashmere travel set and apple air pods feature under travel.
Over in the kitchen, Lawrence is asking for a professional pasta machine, a marble rolling pin and an espresso maker.
The actor, who has been photographed countless times on her way to yoga classes, has also asked for a yoga mat.
On the tech side of things, Lawrence has asked for a Joule Sous Vide, which allows you to place ingredients in food-safe plastic bags, vacuum-seal them, and then cook them in pots of water with precisely controlled temperatures.
The 29-year-old has also asked for an iRobot Braava Jet, which is an AI-powered cleaning tool.
Writing on the retailer’s website, the actor explains that the smart tech she’s chosen “will help make any home feel cosy and organised”.
