You suggest that Scotland should be able to decide independently whether to turn the clocks back. In Australia, Queenslanders have disagreed with the people of New South Wales and Victoria about the same issue. This has not resulted in a constitutional crisis in Canberra.

We should have the same confidence to settle regional issues in ways that most benefit the people concerned.
