Ahead of the show, the Aquaman actor revealed that he would be wearing a green velvet blazer, paired with a black shirt, black pants, and a green necklace.
The actor showed off his outfit on Instagram Stories, where he banged his head along to music and asked his followers which shoes he should wear.
This isn’t the first time the 40-year-old has worn a velvet look on the red carpet - for the 2019 Oscars, Momoa wore a pink velvet suit that matched the pink dress worn by his wife Lisa Bonet, while he opted for a black velvet blazer for the Aquaman premiere.
On Twitter, reactions to Momoa’s velvet outfit choice for the Golden Globes have been overwhelmingly positive.
“Jason Momoa is wearing velvet again. Be still my heart,” one person wrote.
Another said: “Jason Momoa knows velvet is his fabric and his alone.”
Earlier today, Momoa, who is presenting an award during the show, shared a photo of himself to Instagram where he is also dressed in green and sitting atop a green motorcycle.
“Golden Globes today. All green,” the Game of Thrones star captioned the photo.
