On Thursday, the Grace & Frankie actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she was asked whether she’s ever met the Skims founder.
In response, the 82-year-old revealed that she and Kardashian used to go to the same nail salon and would often talk while getting manicures.
“We used to go to the same manicurist and we would chat from her seat to my seat,” Fonda recalled. “She’s very friendly, just one of the gals.”
The Oscar-winning actress then shared a “little story” with Cohen about an interaction she had with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s backside at Clive Davis' pre-Grammys party in February 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
"I was kneeling on the floor talking to Gladys Knight because Georgia is my second home and Gladys lives in Georgia," Fonda recalled. "And I turned around to get up, and right in my face was this shape."
“It went in like this and out like this,” the climate activist said, while miming an hourglass shape with her hands. “And I thought: 'That is the most amazing behind I have ever seen.'”
“And of course it was Kim Kardashian,” she continued. “And so I told her. I said: ‘I’ve just been staring at your behind, it's beautiful.'"
“And she was very sweet,” Fonda added while laughing.
While the Book Club star has had numerous interactions with Kardashian, she revealed during the interview that she never met Princess Diana, nor has she ever met Beyoncé.
“No, I never have. I wish,” she said of meeting the Run The World singer.
Fonda did reveal, however, that she was friends with Michael Jackson early on in his career, describing the late singer as “very touching” and a “very interesting character.”
“I skinny-dipped with him, how about that? Put that in your pipe and smoke it," Fonda said, prompting Cohen to respond: “Wow.”
