World Suicide Prevention Day

The World Health Organization (WHO) is a co-sponsor of the event that promotes suicide awareness and efforts to prevent suicide. WHO estimates "3000 people commit suicide daily" equaling "one death every 40 seconds" worldwide. Prevention is key as "for every person who completes a suicide, 20 or more may attempt to end their lives."

Stand Up 2 Cancer (SU2C)
