Your support makes all the difference.Tom Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black have revealed that they’re expecting their first child together.
The pair marked Valentine’s Day by sharing two photos of their baby’s first sonogram on Instagram, with them both holding the scan up for all the world to see.
Daley captioned his photo with a simple exclamation of “HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY”, while Black wrote: “A very happy #ValentinesDay from ours to yours.”
Daley and Black married last year on May 6 at Bovey Castle, having announced their engagement on October 1 2015.
The Olympic diver first met the screenwriter and director while attending a friend’s dinner in Los Angeles.
According to Daley, spending the rest of their lives together came up in conversation very early on in their relationship.
“Quite honestly, we talked about marriage within the first two weeks after seeing each other the first time in LA,” the 23-year-old told Out magazine in 2016.
“I always knew it was going to happen at some point.”
Black shared this point of view, saying: “Marriage is the foundation to all of these other big plans we have.
“So we knew we were going to get engaged - it was just a matter of when, and who does it.”
Fans of the married couple expressed their congratulations on social media.
“Thrilled for you that your dream of raising a family is coming true,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Congratulations! You and Lance are going to make great parents,” another individual commented.
Some have speculated that Daley and Black are expecting a boy, as the emoji of a family that they chose to use in their captions seemingly depicts a male child.
