A 21-year-old festival-goer has shared shocking footage showing what happened to her after someone allegedly spiked her drink.

Loren Froggatt says she thinks someone slipped a substance into her drink at the Leeds Festival last weekend.

As a result, she was left writhing in her tent with her eyes rolling back into her head, vomited bile, then lost consciousness twice before having a seizure.

She believes that if her fiancé hadn’t been there, she could have choked on her own vomit and died.

Loren, from Eastwood in Nottinghamshire, says she was waiting for fiancé Adam Collins outside of some toilets at the event, when she was distracted by someone and believes a substance was slipped into her drink.

She says that within just 20 minutes,it looked like everything around her was spinning.

She told the Nottingham Post: “As I was waiting outside the main arena, a man approached me and asked to borrow a lighter. I think that’s when it happened.

"I remember feeling suddenly quite dizzy, and after that my mind just goes completely blank.

"Once back at the tent Adam said my eyes kept rolling into the back of my head, I urinated myself, lost control of my jaw and tongue, started vomiting white frothy bile - I then went on to lose consciousness twice.”

Her fiancé is a trained first aider, said he thought his partner was just drunk at first, but realised it was serious when she started having a seizure.

He put her into the recovery position, but leant her forward as he was worried she would choke on her own vomit.

“I didn’t want to leave her, even for a second,” he said, adding that the whole experience was “traumatic”.

She warned people not to take their eye off their drink in crowded places.

Police say the incident was reported to them, and festival organisers said anyone in a similar situation in future should contact a member of site staff immediately.

West Yorkshire Police said there were just 32 arrests over the weekend, a "small" number for an event of its size.
