So you can imagine how tricky it must be for expectant mothers experiencing nausea in their first trimester to continue to work as usual.
Kate Hudson has revealed that it was no different for her, as she faced the prospect of having to hide her pregnancy and sickness symptoms while posing for a sportswear photoshoot.
In an Instagram post that the actress and businesswoman shared over the weekend, she can be seen balancing on an exercise wheel in a sports bra and leggings.
“First trimester photoshoot for @fabletics,” she wrote in the caption.
“All I wanted was a bed and a bucket and all I got was a wheel…”
Hudson is the co-founder of fitness brand Fabletics, so she evidently felt that she had a duty to do the photoshoot despite feeling under the weather.
Many people have praised Hudson for candidly unveiling how she was truly feeling behind the facade of a picture perfect photoshoot.
“Women are amazing - the stuff we can do is magical,” one person wrote.
“Amazing!! You are my superhero lol,” another Instagram user remarked.
Others have expressed their wish for Hudson to release a maternity line for Fabletics.
The Almost Famous and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress revealed earlier this month that she’s currently expecting a baby girl.
“My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way,” she wrote.
Hudson has two sons, Ryder Russell Robinson born in 2004 and Bingham Hawn Bellamy born in 2011.
