BREAST-FEEDING for three months or longer can protect a woman against breast cancer, a study in the British Medical Journal has indicated. It also suggests that the more babies a woman breast-feeds the less likely she is to develop the disease.
Researchers from the National Cancer Centre Research Institute in Tokyo, meanwhile, say that grilling and frying meat and fish releases substances that may trigger cell mutations in breast tissue. A report in Medical World News says roasting and stewing are safer.
