While bungee jumping has long been popular among thrill seekers, less daring gymgoers are jumping on a new trend for indoor, aerial exercises.
Started in Bangkok, Thailand, Stories To Tales Theatre hold regular Bungee Workout classes which use resistance training to tone muscles.
In videos the group has posted online people are strapped to resistant bungee ropes that are suspended from the ceiling.
They use these to plunge to the floor, fly through the air and quite literally bounce of the walls for a unique workout that’s killer on core muscles.
The high-intensity class is a fusion of dance and aerobics that allows people to perform manoeuvres they wouldn’t otherwise be able to do. They can float weightlessly over the floor, hang upside down and perform incredible aerial moves.
The routines are a mix of dance and aerial aerobics that are said to give a full body workout that can help to build muscle strength.
