Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have announced their engagement after five years of dating.

On Tuesday, Stefani shared the news on Instagram, where she captioned a photo of herself and Shelton kissing: “Yes please!”

In the photo, the Sweet Escape singer can be seen showing off her engagement ring.

Shelton also shared the photo on his own Instagram, where he credited Stefani with “saving my 2020.”

“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life…  I love you. I heard a YES!” the 44-year-old wrote.

The couple’s engagement was met with an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities, who congratulated the singers.

“AMAZING! Congratulations to you both!!” John Legend wrote.

Dua Lipa commented: “I guess our little interview aged well!!!!!! Congratulations!!! Best news.”

Lipa’s comment referenced an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel in August when Stefani corrected the New Rules singer after she referred to Shelton as her husband.

"Um, well ... he's not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it," Stefani said at the time.

Shelton has also been outspoken about his relationship with Stefani, previously telling Willie Geist on Sunday Today that his fellow The Voice coach helped him come back from rock bottom after his divorce from Miranda Lambert in 2015.

“When I was going through my divorce and just, you know, hit rock bottom … it’s a miracle that I met somebody that was going through the same exact thing that I was at the same exact moment in time,” he said, referencing Stefani’s divorce from Gavin Rossdale in 2015.

At the time, Shelton also said he would be open to getting married again.

"Of course I would," Shelton said. "Look, you gotta keep taking a stab at life. You know? And I don't know if I will, but of course I would [get married again]. I'm not afraid. Bring it on."

The couple first began dating in 2015, after meeting on the set of The Voice.
